The Embroiderers Guild Victoria

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Embroiderers Guild Victoria, Latrobe Regional Gallery will be hosting a combined exhibition of works from the Guild’s State Collection, alongside a selection produced by members of the Latrobe Branch of the EGV. From gossamer white garments to colourful cross-stitch, the exquisite fabric embellishments on display demonstrate techniques including counted-thread embroidery, stipple and free sewing, blackwork, hardanger and Jacobean crewel.
