Kids, get to know an artist, learn about their works and the inspiration behind them! 

Art After School is four, one-hour workshops led by local artist, Amanda Thompson. With art activities inspired by printmaking, kids will engage with art and ideas and share their own creative ideas in a fun environment.
Amanda Thompson makes art drawn from her local environment using the printmaking technique of woodcut. In her work she explores images of our environment, with an emphasis on industrial landmarks.

This program includes four fortnightly sessions on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm – 5pm.

This program has been designed for students to take part in each of the four workshops, building on what they have learned from the previous session.
Free, all materials provided. Bookings are preferred, walk-ins welcome. This program is recommended for ages 9 – 14, parental supervision is required.
