LRG LIVE: DIRtywork – Rosalind Crisp

Friday 19 November
6pm to 7pm

LRG is pleased to present the performance DIRtywork by East Gippsland dancer and choreographer Rosalind Crisp. DIRtywork will consider how the body responds to local sites of ecological ruin, exploring how the body might connect to, understand, or even embody environmental crisis.

DIRtywork is a 40-minute performance that will invite the audience on a journey through the loss of country in a poetic and physical unravelling of our complicity in the use and abuse of Gippsland.

Bookings are essential as spaces are limited. When booking, please advise LRG of any access requirements that you may have.

DIRtywork was created with the assistance of the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body; the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria; and the Regional Arts Fund. The Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund is provided through Regional Arts Victoria, administered in Victoria by Regional Arts Victoria. In 2021, DIRtywork is assisted by the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund – an Australian Government initiative through the Orbost Studio for Dance Research, and Omeo Dance Inc.
