Art for All Exhibition
6 December 2024 – 23 March 2025
Latrobe Regional Gallery, Gallery 1
International Day of People with Disability is celebrated on 3 December each year. To help celebrate this event, Latrobe Regional Gallery is holding the Art for All Exhibition to highlight and celebrate the diverse talents of people with disability and Creative Venues are holding the interactive workshop. This Exhibition is part of Latrobe Regional Gallery’s community art exhibitions, showcasing the work of artists in our community and beyond at LRG.
The Exhibition will showcase 2-dimensional artworks, such as drawings, paintings, photography, screen prints and poetry and sculptural objects like ceramics, glass or mixed media designs.
Latrobe City recognises the importance of celebrating art and culture as it enriches lives and communities and encourages social inclusion.

The Soundscape Ensemble is a new all-abilities workshop, for anyone interested in exploring improvised soundscapes. Every human being produces musical and rhythmic energy in their own unique way, through a combination of breath, vibration, pitch, resonance, rhythm, gesture and more.
The Soundscape Ensemble will use whatever uniqueness participants bring with them. It may be a wheelchair used as a percussion instrument. The sound of someone’s ‘sigh’ creating the swell of a storm about to break. It may be a wild melody that is improvised, a musical instrument used in a whole new way – or the syncopated smack and swish of the palm of a hand communicating in Auslan.
The Soundscape Ensemble will explore, experiment, and improvise evocative sonic creations inspired by visual prompts. Bring yourself. Bring an open mind. Come ready to explore music in new, unusual, and imaginative ways.
