LRG ONLINE: MODES OF TRANSLATION (MODES AND FORM)

Early in 2020, Latrobe Regional Gallery staged ‘Moving Pictures’ which presented video artworks from just a small sample of artists working in video today. The exhibition featured Holly Block, Pilar Mata Dupont, Rosie Gibbens (UK), Mia Salsjo, Laresa Kosloff, Brie Trenerry, Irene Proebsting & Barry Brown, and Vanessa White.

As part of ‘Moving Pictures’, a live performance of music accompanying the video work Modes of Translations by Mia Salsjo was staged. This video documents the performance.

The music was performed by Silo String Quartet, and written by Mia Salsjo.
