Local artist Sari Anderson will be working in Gallery 3 creating a new artwork. Anderson will be building on her interest in tesseract structures from which the artist compounds and triangulates into drawings to create geometric proposals. The project will develop and grow through the period of her residency.

This is the first Artist in Residence program the Gallery has staged for some years. The creation of artwork on site at the Gallery mirrors the 1991 artist in residency project that saw the creation of The Big Picture by Bill Young on display in Gallery 4.

Sari Anderson will be working in the gallery 20 hours a week and visitors are welcome to chat with her as she creates new artwork on site.
